Užpraeitais metais, bevaikštinėdama po Zyplių dvaro parką Šakiuose, pririnkau kaštonų. Neneigsiu neneigsiu.. man sunku atsisveikinti su daiktais, todėl gera sauja tų kaštonų, pavadinta atseit dekoracija, gerus metus džiuvo ant stalo.
Two years ago during a walk in Zypliai manor house park in Šakiai I picked a handfull of conkers. I have to admit, saying "goodbye" to some stuff is not easy for me, so I kept that handfull of conkers on my table for more than a year.
Galiausiai, kad nebebadytų akių, visi jie buvo suberti į dėžutę, kur ant jų užgriuvo visokių centų krūva, kai kažkur skubėdama norėjau ištuštinti kišenes. Vėliau dėžutės prisireikė ir kaštonai su centais prigulė ant lentynos. Dar vėliau centai buvo iškelti pas kiaulę taupyklę, nes pinigų gi negalima šitaip mėtyt. O kaštonai?
In the end I decided to put all conkers into a box. Some time later I spilled some coins on them (I was just in a hurry and wanted to empty my pockets.) However, after this I thought that I need a box and threw out conkers together with all coins onto a shelf. But later I put all coins to pig-money-box, because even coins are money and they shouldn't be thrown around the room.
And what about conkers?
